I know what you’re thinking??  “T5 on a Thursday? What in the braided-horsetail is this business??”  And to that I respond by first apologizing. I’m sorry T5 is late. I think part of my problem is that I care too much. I want to give you wonderful readers a riveting list with witty explanations that leave you thinking this guest blogger is one fantastic lady who really enjoys lists. Sometimes I need more than a couple of sentences to be witty and fully explain why something is on my list. I began writing a post on Tuesday inspired by Hurricane Ida that gave you a rundown of my top 5 best weather related stories- but we’ll have to save that one for yet another rainy day (pun intended). For now, I’m going to give you a simplified and shortened T5:

Amy’s Top 5 Favorite things about Thursdays.

1. It’s the day before Friday.  And Friday leads to the weekend. And sometimes I get to sleep-in/take naps on the weekend.
2. It means the week is more than halfway over. There is light at the end of the tunnel…
3. I get paid every other Thursday at midnight. There is a previous T5 post on Bouched for your reading pleasure about where all of money goes to.
4. I don’t have any regularly scheduled meetings on Thursdays. Most of them fall Monday-Wednesday. Not that I don’t love meeting with all of my wonderful colleagues, I need some time to myself and think up my next T5. And sometimes do laundry.
5. Grey’s Anatomy and Project Runway come on.  Starting in January, Thursday evening programing is going to get a run for its money in my book because the final season of Lost begins.

So there you have it. The positive side of a Thursday. I’m sorry if this post isn’t as hot as my previous posts, but I promise I’ll bring the heat next time.
